Duties:

Senior adviser seeking engagements with Chinese automotive industry (vehicle/parts/services) firms in the U.S. as well as U.S. firms working with Chinese companies, especially in the automotive sector. I have in-depth experience and understanding of China’s automotive sector, including manufacturers and suppliers. I am a trusted adviser to senior executives. Where China’s electric vehicle sector is concerned, my knowledge of its development, culture, structure, and personalities is extensive. I recently authored the China’s New Energy Vehicle Future report for Wards Intelligence. I know China’s EV policy and market situation and have access to virtually all top executives at EV startups. My connections in the electric vehicle and traditional automotive sector in China are unique for a foreigner and have been nurtured over many years. I have created various successful publications, including determining a focus, building a team, selecting and tailoring content, finding and working with contributors, and writing columns and editorials. I speak Chinese fluently and lived in China for 14 years. I am at ease in cross-cultural environments. My longtime commitment to China gives me immense credibility and helps me to easily build rapport with Chinese and foreign colleagues. I can help Chinese companies in the U.S. by introducing them to potential partners and investors and helping them navigate choppy cross-cultural waters. For U.S. companies doing business in China I can suggest potential partners, make introductions, and smooth cross-cultural misunderstandings. For U.S. companies working with Chinese firms in the U.S., I can serve as a liaison between potentially conflicting corporate cultures. For U.S. investors looking at China, I can help craft strategy, make introductions, and assist in market research, bench marking, and due diligence.
