As CEO of Edison2 Motors, Theodoros Papaspyridis is responsible for running all facets of the business.
He has a proven executive management track record and over 35 years’ experience in the Transportation Industry.
Prior to his participation as a co-founder of Edison2 Motors, LLC in 2016, he had served as CEO overseeing ‘product design and development’ and owned and operated multi franchise car dealerships including Land Rover, Chrysler Jeep, Saab, Mitsubishi, Citoen, and Fiat-Alfa Romeo-Lancia.
In 1985, Founder and CEO of Motor Gallery, the first design conversion and distribution of purpose vehicles in Greece.
In 1987 he acquired a successful start up car seat company, Monaco SA
In 1988, Th.Papaspyridis S.A, a company founded and owned by Theodoros, was granted the first authorized dealership in Athens for Land Rover and in 1992 of Chrysler Jeep.
In 1992, Founder and Co Chairman of Camon Limited, the first Greek Chinese JV between Camon ltd and Monaco SÁ which was a Tier 1 supplier of automobile and bus seats in Suzhou, Jiangsu province and launched affiliated distributors in US and Germany.
Timely exited from auto dealership operation in 2002.
In 2002 he co founded a real estate development company SEA ltd.
Timely relocated to the United States in 2010.
Joined Edison*2, LLC in 2011 as executive Chairman of the board and founded Edison2 Motors in 2016 licensing the Edison2 technology for North America.
Since founding Edison2 Motors, LLC, Theodoros and his team’s vision is to apply the 2010 X Prize winning technology to design and deploy a fleet of purpose vehicles on a subscription basis, to capture the rapidly changing needs of personal transportation.
